How to Systemize
The number one business frustration cited by Entrepreneur Magazine and Price Waterhouse in their Entrepreneurial Challenges survey is "finding and retaining qualified employees.”
We too run a survey annually with all of our customers attempting to identify the top five business frustrations and every year employee frustration tops the list.
Additionally, while studies vary, many consultants report that 96% of all businesses fail in their first 10 years.
This is not the case with franchises. According to the Small Business Administration, nearly 95% of new franchises are successful. That is the complete opposite of non-franchised business success.
Employee problems, lack of profits, chaos, frustration - these are not the reasons you started your business.
So what's the solution? How do you create a business that can run smoothly, consistently and profitably without you even having to be there.
The answer is SYSTEMS - documented operating procedures that instruct your people how to do what you need them to do with expectations of what they will achieve if they follow the system.
